FMF told to change World Cup qualifiers venue

The encounter between Mali and Algeria counting for qualifiers of the 2014 world cup may not take place in Bamako as initially programmed.

Reports say the International football governing body, FIFA has instructed the Malian Football Federation (FMF) to look for another venue. It should be recalled that the Algerian football federation had earlier requested for a change of venue for the match due some political upheavals taking place in Mali. FMF rejected the request but there are speculations that the encounter which is billed for June 9 will take place in Burkina Faso.
